چکیده
Anthracnose and Fusariose of beans caused by Colletotrichum lindemuthianum Fusarium solani respectively are two dreaded diseases that can lead to yield losses 30 100% in the field. The present study was carried out evaluate antifungal activities seed extracts Anonidium mannii (Annonaceae) on vitro growth C. F. solani. Extracts A. seeds obtained from acetone, water methanol solvents, were used for phytochemical screening preparation solutions with concentrations 12.5, 25 50 µl/ml. To radial growth, explants 0.7 cm diameter each strains They placed at centre sterile Petri dishes containing PDA medium supplemented different incubated 23°C 6 days. results revealed presence alkaloids, phenols, saponins this depended solvent used. minimum inhibitory (MIC50 MIC90) also calculated. At a concentration 50µl/ml each, acetone extract inhibited strain 2 (2.33 cm) more than (3.26 six days incubation. Similarly, strongly (1.98 cm). MIC50 aqueous gave 27.38 µl/ml 32.24 lindemuthianum. Due their power, after purification bioactive compounds, aqueous, could be as synthetic fungicides control anthracnose fusariose common bean.

Dissecting Phaseolus vulgaris Innate Immune System against Colletotrichum lindemuthianum Infection
BACKGROUND The genus Colletotrichum is one of the most economically important plant pathogens, causing anthracnose on a wide range of crops including common beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). Crop yield can be dramatically decreased depending on the plant cultivar used and the environmental conditions. This study aimed to identify potential genetic components of the bean immune system to provide en...
متن کاملTranscriptome Profiling of the Phaseolus vulgaris - Colletotrichum lindemuthianum Pathosystem
Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) anthracnose caused by the hemi-biotrophic pathogen Colletotrichum lindemuthianum is a major factor limiting production worldwide. Although sources of resistance have been identified and characterized, the early molecular events in the host-pathogen interface have not been investigated. In the current study, we conducted a comprehensive transcriptome analysis using Illu...
متن کاملDiversification and Population Structure in Common Beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.)
Wild accessions of crops and landraces are valuable genetic resources for plant breeding and for conserving alleles and gene combinations in planta. The primary genepool of cultivated common beans includes wild accessions of Phaseolus vulgaris. These are of the same species as the domesticates and therefore are easily crossable with cultivated accessions. Molecular marker assessment of wild bea...

Colletotrichum lindemuthianum is the causal agent of anthracnose in common beans, one of the main limiting factors of their culture. Here, we report for the first time, to our knowledge, a draft of the complete genome sequences of two isolates belonging to 83.501 and 89 A2 2-3 of C. lindemutuianum.

INTRODUCTION Embryo defective mutants in Phaseolus vulgaris obtained by Ethyl methanesulfonate (EMS) induction were studied to determine the structural and molecular basis of seed abortion in this species. In the wild-type, the classical pattern of seed development showed coordinated differentiation of the embryo proper, suspensor, endosperm tissue, and seed coat. On the contrarily, EMS mutant ...
